The Health of People and the Environment in the Lake Victoria Basin (HoPE-LVB) project is one of the largest and most scaled up integrated Population, Health, and Environment programs implemented in the East African region. The HoPE-LVB toolkit, developed by Pathfinder, is a collection of resources, lessons learned, and best practices from the project to help governmental and non-governmental organizations, institutions, and development practitioners who want to design, implement, scale up, and/or monitor and evaluate population, health, and environment initiatives. Training coordinators, curriculum developers, and advocates will find the toolkit useful in their efforts to educate, guide, and train community, local, national, and regional actors on the importance of integrating population, health, and environment approached into strategic development plans and policies.
