WomenStrong Honored with Inaugural Paul Farmer Award

Recognition from Partners for Dignity & Rights Highlights Leadership in Global Gender Equity
WomenStrong International and our Founder and Board Chair, Dr. Susan Blaustein, are honored to have received the inaugural Paul Farmer Award from Partners for Dignity & Rights at the organization’s 20th anniversary gala in New York City on May 21.
Established in memory of Dr. Paul Farmer — a visionary physician, human rights advocate, and founding board member of Partners for Dignity & Rights — the award recognizes bold, transformative leadership in advancing justice, equity, and economic and social rights.
To be acknowledged in Dr. Farmer’s name is a profound honor. His legacy of unwavering commitment to health and dignity for all — especially those most marginalized — mirrors WomenStrong’s own mission to partner with grassroots women-led organizations to advance gender equity and drive community-led change.
This recognition is a powerful affirmation of the work we do together with local women leaders across the globe — supporting their solutions, amplifying their voices, and advancing human rights from the ground up.
We thank Partners for Dignity & Rights for this meaningful recognition and for honoring the power of women-led change.
