Heather Goldberg Mendelow is an attorney and teacher. Most recently, Heather practiced law at Pfizer as a Senior Corporate Counsel for a variety of drug portfolios. Prior to practicing law, Heather taught elementary school in Compton, California for three years as a Teach For America corps member.

Heather Goldberg Mendelow is an attorney and teacher.

Most recently, Heather practiced law at Pfizer as a Senior Corporate Counsel for a variety of drug portfolios.  Prior to Pfizer, Heather was a corporate lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, during which time she volunteered at Legal Aid East Harlem.

Prior to practicing law, she taught elementary school in Compton, CA for three years as a Teach For America corps member.

Heather received her B.A. in Public Policy as well as Certificates in Women’s Studies and the Arts from Duke University. While at Duke, she received the Duke Community Action Award for her work with at risk Durham youth where she led a big brother/big sister program.  Heather is a member of the Duke Women’s Impact Network and the Board of Visitors of the Sanford School of Public Policy.

Heather has a J.D. from NYU School of Law and is a member of the New York and D.C. Bar.  In addition, she received a Teaching Credential and Certificate from California State University.

Heather has served as a Wish Granter and Advisory Board Member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation as well as a volunteer cabin counselor at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, a non-profit organization for seriously ill children.

Heather lives in New York City where she and her husband are raising two school-aged children.
