Dr. Helen Yang is an international executive with 30 years of corporate experience, including 20 years in the Asia Pacific region, in a Fortune 500 company. Currently, she is Founder and Managing Director of New Horizons Management Consulting Co., where she specializes in providing strategic business and leadership solutions to clients. Previously, Helen had a distinguished career at DuPont, where she progressed from research engineer to assume various leadership roles, including Americas business leader, global marketing leader, and head of Asia Pacific for multiple businesses and corporate functions. Her extensive expertise spans leadership, strategy, transformation, and design of organizations and operating models across several industries. From her many leadership roles, she is skilled in building and empowering diverse cross-functional and multicultural teams. 

In addition to her professional achievements, Helen has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service and philanthropy. She has served on the board of directors and advisory board of several organizations, including Financial Times Board Director Program, American Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, Royal Asiatic Society China, Asia Initiatives, and others.

Helen’s expertise and leadership have been recognized through invitations to speak at prestigious conferences and events, such as the China Europe International Business School, Women in Business, China Women Global Economic Summit, and various corporate forums. She has been actively engaged in professional and community organizations, with memberships in Smithsonian Associates, National Museum of Asian Art, US-China Business Council, International Market Assessment Asia, Economist Corporate Network, and others. 

Helen holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. Her major certifications include the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma, Knowledge Intensive Growth Program from the Wharton School, International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach, and MMS Worldwide Institute Transformational Executive Coach Certification.
