Women of Borgne Come Together to Celebrate International Women’s Day!

It was also a day to recommit to combat all forms of violence against women and girls. The group heard from several speakers, including the coordinator of AFASDHA (Association Femmes Soleil d’Haiti), staff from H.O.P.E.’s and WomenStrong’s S.E.E. Fanm program and community leaders. S.E.E. Fanm is committed to combat gender-based violence in all its forms and to working with all segments of the community to raise awareness of this problem and to address the structures that support the oppression of women and girls.
